Holy sh...

WOW, what a day of videos. I rarely watch web videos more than once but Dennis' and Garrett's part in the new Nike 6.0 Video I've already watched 4 times. It was like watching Rocky's fight against Clubber Lang. Those two parts were seriously the most craziest, progressive parts that I've seen in a very long time. Plus, I think Dennis could have died on that last banger (whip pic above).

snap shot

Even I can't believe I've been blogging this much lately. I guess it's quantity over quality this time?

There is a cool program for you guys that want that look of a Polaroid and don't want to do your trickery in Photoshop to get that Polaroid look. It's easy to use too. Drag your photo to the camera and it pops out. You even can shake it to make it develop faster like the real deal. It even makes the picture look like crap like a real Polaroid.
Go Here to get the program.

now listening

I stopped listening to music all together for the time being and went towards audio books. If you get bored while running (like I do) these babies might be some help. I first picked up Steve Martin's Born Standing Up which gives you an in-depth look into Martin's life as a comic. If you're a fan of the Howard Stern show then you must be a fan of the train wreck called Artie Lang. From Heroin to hookers to suicide attempts, this guy is non stop entertainment. And he's funny as shit. Artie just came out with an audio book with other wack packers and himself as himself. I highly recommend both, for whatever the hell that's worth.

watch out kids

Now that all the fires in the area have stopped, I can get back to my quad whips. My new bike does make it a tad easier. Watch out Spinner!

On fire (not in a good way)

I'm currently stuck right in the middle one of the worst Southern California fires. It's like sticking your head in a camp fire and not being able to get away from the smoke and ashes. One of the bigger ones is a block away from my home. My running route (yes I run) is on fire. This is really surreal.

Fixed gear upcoming goods

Pictured is our 26" Genesis Sledgehammer fork on the 53 Cutter.
We've been getting a ton of emails on what's next from Volume for the fixed gear guys.
We've been busy trying to get a fork that spins on nearly every bike with a 700C wheel. That's easier said then done without having a clown bike that has the fork legs (axle to crown) longer then 430mm. Hopefully well have a prototype up on the site within the next couple of months. Also in the works is a 25.4 BMX style top load stem, hubs, pivotal saddle, cranks and bars.
